Culinary Academy
WSCC Culinary Academy is an entry level training program. No previous food service experience is necessary.
The eight week course focuses on practical kitchen skills and culinary knowledge.
Upon successfully completing The ServSafe Course students will receive the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certificate.
Engaging learning opportunities with in-depth classroom studies and hands on development of basic kitchen skills.
Interaction and practical experiences with multiple food service operations within the West Side Catholic Center.

The West Side Catholic Center (WSCC) Culinary Academy was approved as a Registered Pre-Apprenticeship program by ApprenticeOhio, a division of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Registered Pre-Apprenticeship programs provide career pathways and opportunities for people with employment barriers to earn a nationally recognized credential and a full-time job as a Registered Apprentice.
